Native of Detroit, Michigan, MICHAEL MINDINGALL is no new-comer
to gospel music. Primarily known for his songwriting and studio
session work as an extraordinary keyboardist, he has played
with and can be heard on recordings by such artists as Thomas
Whitfield, Aretha Franklin, Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin,
Jennifer Holiday, Dorinda Clark Cole, Bishop Paul Morton and
the Full Gospel Fellowship Choir, Kurt Carr, just to name a
few.
Now,
as you can derive from the CD's title, "Praisetrumentals" is
MICHAEL MINDINGALL'S instrumental (with vocals) presentation
of inspirational / gospel songs and messages.
In
addition to MICHAEL's 10 original songs, the CD includes instrumental
versions of the award winning hits "I Need You Now" (Smokie
Norful) and "Shackles (Praise You)" (Mary Mary).
Featured vocalists include L.J. Reynolds of the legendary group "The
Dramatics" (Never Get Too Busy"). Also featured is
an up and coming new artist, Michael Brown singing "On
The Battlefield".
