In
this, his sophomore release on Crystal Rose Records, Rodney Posey
calls on the production talents of mega gospel producers Fred Hammond,
Donald Lawrence, Cedric Thompson and Michael J. Powell, along with
newcomer Michael Mindingall. As if that wasn't enough, on "Holy"
and "Lord, I Worship You", producer Donald Lawrence brought in award
winning arranger Paul Riser ("I Believe I Can Fly") and the Detroit
Symphony String section for orchestrations.
The
Chicago-born Posey began singing at the early age of seven. His
mother encouraged her son's singing by enrolling him at the Cincinnati
College Conservatory when he was thirteen years old. And, by the
time he was attending the University of Cincinnati, on his way to
earning a degree in psychology, Posey began touring the country
with the college's Men's Glee Club.
In
addition to his music, Posey is active as a counselor for Cincinnati's
Bureau of Rehabilitation, where he secures employment for physically
and mentally challenged individuals.
Rodney
Posey's previous release "Live In Praise and Worship" featuring
The Whitfield Company is still a favorite among gospel music fans.
